PRP | PRF

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is based on the concept that the aging process can be reversed with the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Using your own mesenchymal stem cells, cytokines, and fibrin, a scaffold-like matrix is created that simultaneously strengthens the structure of the skin while rejuvenating the cells within it. It’s like a potent, natural fertilizer that harnesses the power of your own body’s stem cells and biological healing capabilities to create a new, improved and naturally youthful looking you.

PRP Therapy has been successfully used to treat sports-related injuries in professional athletes for many years, but has only recently become popular in aesthetic medicine. Always on the cutting-edge, Kristina has been performing an advanced form of PRP called PRFM (Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix) for years. She is one of the earliest adopters of this technology in Southern California. Having learned and studied it abroad years ago.

PRP AND PRFM FOR HAIR GROWTH

PRP and PRFM can be successfully used in the treatment of female and male hair loss and thinning.

Utilizing innovative techniques, Kristina is able to distribute the PRFM to the appropriate location and regenerate thinning, weak hair. This nonsurgical procedure is performed in the office, with little pain and very minimal downtime. By stimulating inactive hair follicles back into the active growth phase, Kristina has been able to reverse the effects of thinning hair in both men and women.

PRP FACIAL - VAMPIRE FACIAL

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy combined with microneedling is also known as the “Vampire Facial®”.

It rejuvenates the skin so that damaged tissue can be improved by stimulating the skin to build more collagen. What makes this treatment especially unique is that we use microneedling along with the patient’s own blood to treat problem areas of the skin. The end result is skin that is tighter, firmer, and has a luminous glow.

PRP FACIAL INJECTIONS

The visible effects may begin subtly as early as 2 weeks but more reliably at 2 months.

Then, over the subsequent 3 – 6 months, final results are obtained. Many people are happy with just one or two sessions, but three sessions deliver the best results. Each session is spaced 1-2 months apart in order to achieve the best outcome. Final results depend on the quality of the existing skin, tissue laxity, facial bone atrophy as well as lifestyle choices of the patient.
